A simple school day, family morning or trip to the shops can become fun if everyone agrees on a small story. One player can run a cafe, another can be the customer who cannot decide what to order, and someone else can be the friend who turns up late.
You do not need a huge group. Two or three players can still make a good roleplay if everyone knows the idea.
If roleplay feels too slow, turn Brookhaven into a small challenge. Try building the best house in ten minutes, finding the funniest outfit, or making a car parade through town.
The best challenges are usually the ones that do not need arguing. Keep them silly, keep them short, and do not ruin someone else's roleplay to make your own more exciting.
Brookhaven works best when people give each other space. If someone does not want to join your story, leave them alone and ask someone else.
A good server is made by players who play along, listen, and do not force their ideas onto everyone. That is usually when Brookhaven stops feeling boring.
