Roblox badges are achievements awarded by game creators. You might earn one for joining an event, finding a secret, completing a difficult level or playing during a celebration.
Once awarded, a badge appears in the Badges section of your Roblox inventory and on the game page. It does not normally give Robux by itself.
How a game awards a badge
The creator makes a badge and adds code that checks whether you completed its requirement. When the game confirms it, Roblox records the badge on your account.
Some badges are automatic when you join. Others need a full task, and leaving before the final step may mean nothing is awarded.
Why a badge might not appear
The badge may be disabled, limited to an old event or broken after a game update. Roblox services can also be delayed, so it is worth checking your inventory again later.
Read the badge description carefully. A picture of a prize does not always mean the badge also awards that item.
Can a badge be removed?
Creators can disable future awards, but badges already earned usually remain in inventories unless Roblox moderates the badge or account. You can also delete a badge from your own inventory.
Be careful with games that demand payment for an unofficial badge promise. A real Roblox badge is awarded through Roblox and should appear on an official badge page.
