Roblox is played by around 132 million daily active users. Roblox used that figure in official updates published in June and July 2026.
That does not mean the same 132 million people log in every single day. The number is an average, and one person may also use more than one account or device.
What does daily active user mean?
A daily active user, often shortened to DAU, is an account that used Roblox during a day. Companies normally average this across a longer reporting period, so the total does not jump around with every busy weekend or school holiday.
It is different from concurrent players. Concurrent players are online at the same moment, while daily active users include everybody who visited at any point during the day.
Why the number keeps changing
Roblox grows, players take breaks and new devices become supported. A number published in January can therefore be different from one published in July, even when both were accurate at the time.
That is why it is worth checking the date beside any Roblox statistic. Our answer uses Roblox's own 2026 reporting rather than an old total copied from another website.
How big is 132 million?
If all 132 million users stood in one enormous queue, it would be larger than the population of many countries. They are spread across thousands of games, languages and time zones, though, so no single game sees all of them.
The number also explains why the front page changes so quickly. Even a small share of Roblox players can mean hundreds of thousands of people trying the same game.
