Pressing Play and getting nowhere is annoying, but it does not always mean your account is banned. The game might be full, private, unavailable on your device or having a temporary problem.
Read the exact message before repeatedly pressing the button. An error code or short explanation usually tells you where to start.
Check whether the game is available
Open the game page and look for a notice from the creator. A game may be temporarily private during an update, limited to certain devices or unavailable because Roblox moderated it.
If a friend sent a private-server link, the owner may need to add you again. Age and privacy settings can also stop some accounts from joining private servers.
Try the simple fixes
Close Roblox fully, open it again and try a different public game. Restart the device if the same problem appears everywhere.
Check your Wi-Fi and the Roblox status page. Do not reinstall everything straight away when Roblox itself is reporting an outage.
Read what the code means
Error 279 points to a failed connection, while error 267 usually means the game removed or banned you. Other messages may say the server is full or that your account cannot access the content.
Only contact the game's moderation team if the message says the restriction came from that game. Roblox account restrictions need to be handled through Roblox Support instead.
