Our Games in Numbers — Q1 2026

By Laius Entertainment Tuesday, 7 April 2026 2 min read

Between January and March 2026, over 115,000 unique players joined our games on Roblox. In total, our games were visited over 1.5 million times across the quarter, with players spending a combined 264,084 hours in them.

Our players are primarily children and young teens.

Where our players come from

The three most common countries were the United States (19.6%), the United Kingdom (9.8%), and Indonesia (7.3%). The rest is spread across dozens of other countries.

What stands out is that 47.8% of players who join our games do not speak English as their primary language. This is something we have been paying attention to, because it affects how players communicate with each other and with staff.

How language works in our games

Roblox has a built-in automatic translation system that translates all in-game text, including chat messages, into each player’s own language. This means a player in Germany and a player in the Philippines can have a conversation without either of them needing to speak the other’s language.

We ran a test earlier this year to see how well this works in practice. The result was that it works. Players from non-English speaking countries regularly communicate with English-speaking players, join shifts, follow instructions, and contribute to the team. Many of them have gone on to become higher-ranked members.

It is worth noting that the system is not perfect. Some messages are mistranslated, and certain phrases do not carry over well between languages. But generally, it does a good enough job that language has not been a barrier to communication.

What this means

Our games are played by an international audience. Nearly half of our player base operates in a language other than English, and thanks to Roblox’s translation tools, that has not prevented them from playing. We think that is worth knowing, particularly for parents whose children may be interacting with players from around the world.

Thank you

None of this would be possible without the people who play our games every day. Thank you.
