Roblox parental controls can block an individual game without removing access to the whole platform. This is useful when one game is unsuitable, too frightening or creating a specific problem for the child.
The control is managed from a linked parent account. Available wording can vary by app version and region.
Open the child’s game controls
Sign in to the linked parent account, open Parental Controls and select the child. Look for Content restrictions or the section that manages blocked and allowed games.
Search for the exact game and confirm the creator before blocking it. Copies may use a similar title and thumbnail but have a different page.
Test the restriction
After saving, try opening the game from the child's account. The block should stop the game while leaving other Roblox experiences available.
If it still opens, check that the parent is linked to the correct child and that Roblox has refreshed the setting. Update the app and try again before assuming the control is being ignored.
Pair the block with a conversation
Explain why that game is unavailable in terms the child can understand. A silent technical block may encourage them to search for copies or use another account.
Review the list later. Some restrictions should remain, while others may be reconsidered as the child grows or the game changes.
